    Mr. Russell is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Prior to Equis, Mr Russell spent 12 years with the Macquarie Group in Australia, South Korea and Hong Kong, playing a pivotal role in developing Macquarie’s Asian private equity and infrastructure businesses. As CEO and Representative Director, Mr. Russell established the Macquarie Korea Opportunities Fund, South Korea’s largest private equity fund at the time, the Macquarie Diversified Infrastructure Fund and Macquarie’s Greater China Infrastructure Fund, which was Macquarie’s joint venture with China Everbright Limited. Mr Russell left Macquarie as a Senior Managing Director, Head of Greater China and Asia Private Equity for Macquarie Capital Funds. Prior to Macquarie, Mr. Russell spent 5 years as an energy and utilities lawyer with Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom in the United States and Minter Ellison in Australia. Mr. Russell holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Monash University and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia.

    Mr. Comes is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Mr. Comes has over 20 years’ experience in international finance, energy and infrastructure investment. Prior to founding Equis he was the Head of Infrastructure and Principal Investments and a Senior Managing Director at Macquarie Securities Korea. Mr. Comes also worked in the Sydney and Wellington offices of Macquarie where he was responsible for originating and executing infrastructure transactions in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Comes holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with a Major in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration (Financial Engineering Track) from the Sloan School of Business, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

    Mr. Ballin is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Mr. Ballin has over 15 years of international energy and infrastructure fund and investment experience. Prior to Equis, Mr. Ballin was based in South Korea with the funds management division of Macquarie Bank where he was a key member of the team that created the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund and served as the fund’s Head of Acquisitions. Prior to joining Macquarie’s funds management division, Mr. Ballin worked in the advisory group where he successfully completed a number of high profile transactions in Asia and Australia. Mr. Ballin also served as a Director and Board Member of Denham Capital Asia Pacific. There he successfully established the local operations and strategic direction for the group in Asia. Mr. Ballin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Economics) and a Bachelor of Laws (Commercial and Securities Law) from Canterbury University.

    Mr. Carmody is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Mr. Carmody has over 20 years of international energy and infrastructure advisory, investment and fund management experience. He has particular experience with the development of renewable energy assets and low carbon infrastructure in emerging markets in Asia. Mr. Carmody previously worked at Denham Capital Asia Pacific as a Director and Board Member, and established its Singapore office with Adam Ballin. He has previously worked as a Senior Project Specialist and Principal Finance Specialist at the Asian Development Bank (“ADB”) focusing on renewable energy project development. Whilst at the ADB he also managed the Asia Pacific Carbon Fund. Mr. Carmody also had a successful career as a commercial lawyer working in private practice with top-tier law firms in Asia and the United Kingdom, most recently as a Partner in Baker & McKenzie’s Global Clean Energy and Climate Change Practice. Mr. Carmody holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University and a Masters of Laws (Corporate and Commercial Law) from the University of New South Wales.

    Mr. Cowan is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Mr. Cowan is an energy industry professional with over 35 years of international experience including 17 years in Asia managing the development, construction, operations and financing of power projects in East and Southeast Asia. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Petrocom Energy and was responsible for the company’s operations and commercial divisions. Prior to this, he served as Regional Director for Marubeni Power Asset Management covering Southeast Asia and Australia. Throughout his career Mr. Cowan has served as the General Manager of numerous electric power installations. Mr. Cowan has experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the development of strategies and business plans, due diligence, market and regulatory assessment, commercial evaluation, project structuring, negotiation of commercial agreements, finance, tax optimization, business performance, and management of host country government, partner and customer relationships. Mr. Cowan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

    Mr. Chaudhary is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Mr. Chaudhary has over 15 years’ experience across a variety of infrastructure planning and real estate development projects in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and the United Kingdom. He has led a number of notable private sector deals in India and has advised numerous state governments on infrastructure investment projects. Prior to joining Equis, Mr. Chaudhary was a Partner and Executive Director at Assetz Property Group. Prior to Assetz Property Group, he held a number of senior positions at Jones Lang LaSalle in Asia and the United Kingdom. Mr. Chaudhary holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters of Arts in Geography from the University of Ajmer, and a Masters of Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

    Mr. Sharma joined Equis India Advisors, an advisor to Equis Funds Group in 2013 and is based in India. Mr. Sharma has more than 14 years of energy and infrastructure experience across principal investments, EPC project execution and asset management. Mr. Sharma’s energy experience includes gas and coal fired plants and renewable energy. Prior to joining Equis, Mr. Sharma worked with General Electric (GE) for six years as part of its Energy Financial Services group covering India, South Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Prior to GE, Mr. Sharma spent two years with ICICI Bank as part of its Project Finance Group managing the project finance cycle for large Indian greenfield power projects in India. Prior to ICICI, Mr. Sharma spent five years with Bechtel Corporation focused on EPC execution across US power projects and the implementation of energy efficiency projects. Mr. Sharma holds a MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology - BHU, Varanasi, India - where he was honored with the "Institute Color" Award.

    Mr Marsh is a Director of Equis Funds Group. Prior to Equis, Mr Marsh spent 14 years at Macquarie Group in Australia, South Korea, the Middle East and the Philippines. During this time Mr Marsh played a leading role in developing Macquarie's infrastructure advisory and principal businesses in these markets.  Mr Marsh has led, advised on and invested into transactions in the transportation, energy, logistics and social infrastructure sectors. Mr Marsh was a leader in the establishment of Macquarie's Middle Eastern business, assisting in the creation of the Zonescorp Infrastructure Fund and the ADCB Macquarie Infrastructure Fund. More recently Mr Marsh led Macquarie Capital's infrastructure business in the Philippines, providing advice to several conglomerates in developing large scale infrastructure in addition to playing a pivotal role in the growth of the Philippine Alliance for Investment in Infrastructure, a Philippine focused fund managed by the Macquarie Group. Mr Marsh holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.

    Mr. Schmidt joined Equis Funds Group in 2010. He has over 13 years of experience in infrastructure investment and asset management. He is the Director responsible for Equis’ investment in Indian hydro and plays an active asset management role in this asset. His experience is across a diverse range of infrastructure assets including power generation and transmission, water treatment, toll roads, telecommunications and container terminals across Asia and the U.S. Prior to joining Equis, he was at Macquarie Bank for 10 years in a variety of roles, including serving as Investment Officer for the Macquarie Korea Opportunities Fund where he was responsible for a team of five professionals in executing US$1 billion of infrastructure investments. He was also responsible for the ongoing asset management of these investments. Mr. Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from the University of Sydney.

    Mr. Yang joined Equis Funds Group in 2011 and has over 10 years of infrastructure investments and private equity experience. Prior to Equis, Mr. Yang was a Vice President of Macquarie Funds Group based in Abu Dhabi, where he was responsible for asset acquisitions in the Middle East and North Africa region for the ADCB Macquarie Infrastructure Fund. Prior to this role, Mr. Yang was based in the Seoul office of Macquarie Group where he executed a number of landmark transactions for, and the listing of, the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund. Mr. Yang has a Bachelor of Economics from Seoul National University. He is fluent in English and Korean.

    Mr. Russell joined Equis Funds Group in 2012 as a Director. Prior to Equis, Mr. Russell was a Managing Director and Partner of Goldman Sachs JBWere in Sydney and was Co-Head of its Principal Investment Area for Australia and New Zealand ("GSJBW PIA"). He was also Chairman of a number of GSJBW PIA's Private Equity and Mezzanine Fund Investment Committees. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Tim established the Australian office for Intermediate Capital Group, a global private equity and mezzanine investor listed on the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Russell has worked in the investment management, investment banking and chartered accounting industries for the last 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and is a Chartered Accountant.

    Mr. Chen joined Equis Funds Group in 2012. He has over 8 years’ experience in infrastructure advisory and financing across Southeast Asia, China and the Middle East. Prior to Equis, Mr. Chen was an Associate Director with Standard Chartered Bank where he was responsible for advising clients on M&A transactions and arranging debt in the private and public markets. He has executed over US$5 billion worth of M&A transactions in the Asian power space. Prior to Standard Chartered, Mr. Chen was an analyst with Lazard Asia. Mr. Chen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Prior to joining Equis, Mr. Seah spent six years at Macquarie Group including three years in Singapore with Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund, Macquarie’s Singapore-listed pan Asian fund, and almost three years in Beijing and Hong Kong with Macquarie Everbright Greater China Infrastructure Fund, Macquarie’s Greater China focused joint venture fund with China Everbright Limited. Mr. Seah has executed and managed infrastructure transactions and assets across the petrochemical storage, power and toll road sectors in China. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Mr. Lim worked as an Associate at CCMP Capital Asia, a pan-Asian private equity fund, where he was responsible for investments in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to that, Mr. Lim was an Executive in the investment banking division at Macquarie Group. Mr. Lim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours in Actuarial Studies) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Business Administration (Finance & Management) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.     Mr. Gupta joined Equis India Advisors, an advisor to Equis Funds Group in 2013. He has eight years of experience in energy and infrastructure investment and asset management in India. Prior to joining Equis, Mr. Gupta spent two and a half years with IDFC Alternatives infrastructure equity fund where he evaluated investments across various infrastructure sectors including, amongst others, power, oil and gas storage. Prior to this, Mr. Gupta was a Deputy Asset Manager with Total Gas & Power India for five and a half years where he was responsible for executing and managing transactions related to LNG and LPG import businesses in India whilst also being involved in actively pursuing new business initiatives for the group. Mr Gupta holds a Master of Finance from Lancaster University and a Master of Business Administration (Finance and Entrepreneurship) from the Imperial College Business School.

    Ms. Interdonato joined Equis Funds Group as COO in 2012. Ms. Interdonato has over 18 years of experience in finance and operations with over 11 years’ experience in infrastructure and private equity funds. Prior to Equis, Ms. Interdonato was a Senior Vice President of Macquarie Capital Advisers in Dubai where she was responsible for business expansion and operations in the MENA region. Prior to this role, Ms. Interdonato worked within Macquarie Capital’s infrastructure and corporate advisory divisions in Singapore where she was the COO of the listed Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund. Ms. Interdonato also held the position of COO in Seoul, Korea where she was instrumental in the establishment and led the operations of the Macquarie Korea Opportunities Fund, South Korea’s largest private equity fund at the time, and the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund, South Korea’s first infrastructure fund. Ms. Interdonato holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from La Trobe University and a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne.

    Ms. Cheah joined Equis Funds Group as Risk and Compliance Counsel in 2013. Ms. Cheah has over nine years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity funds. Prior to Equis, Ms. Cheah was the Legal and Regulatory Counsel of Navis Capital Partners, an Asian private equity firm. At Navis, Ms. Cheah was responsible for legal and regulatory risk management in relation to portfolio investments and disposals, fund formation and portfolio corporate secretarial matters. Prior to joining Navis, Ms. Cheah practised as a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions and foreign investment for six years at Skrine, one of Malaysia’s leading law firms. Ms. Cheah holds a LLB degree from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom and was called to the English Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2004 and the Malaysian Bar in 2005. Ms. Cheah is a non-practising member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Malaysian Bar.

    Sandra Interdonato

    Ms. Interdonato joined Equis Funds Group as COO in 2012. Ms. Interdonato has over 18 years of experience in finance and operations with over 11 years’ experience in infrastructure and private equity funds. Prior to Equis, Ms. Interdonato was a Senior Vice President of Macquarie Capital Advisers in Dubai where she was responsible for business expansion and operations in the MENA region. Prior to this role, Ms. Interdonato worked within Macquarie Capital’s infrastructure and corporate advisory divisions in Singapore where she was the COO of the listed Macquarie International Infrastructure Fund. Ms. Interdonato also held the position of COO in Seoul, Korea where she was instrumental in the establishment and led the operations of the Macquarie Korea Opportunities Fund, South Korea’s largest private equity fund at the time, and the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund, South Korea’s first infrastructure fund. Ms. Interdonato holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from La Trobe University and a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Melbourne.

    Meng Choo Cheah

    Ms. Cheah joined Equis Funds Group as Risk and Compliance Counsel in 2013. Ms. Cheah has over nine years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity funds. Prior to Equis, Ms. Cheah was the Legal and Regulatory Counsel of Navis Capital Partners, an Asian private equity firm. At Navis, Ms. Cheah was responsible for legal and regulatory risk management in relation to portfolio investments and disposals, fund formation and portfolio corporate secretarial matters. Prior to joining Navis, Ms. Cheah practised as a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions and foreign investment for six years at Skrine, one of Malaysia’s leading law firms. Ms. Cheah holds a LLB degree from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom and was called to the English Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2004 and the Malaysian Bar in 2005. Ms. Cheah is a non-practising member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Malaysian Bar.

    Ms. Hsieh joined Equis Funds Group in 2013. Ms. Hsieh has 10 years of experience in office management, human resources administration and sales and marketing in various industries. Prior to joining Equis, Ms. Hsieh worked with Chandler Corporation, German Centre for Industry and Trade as well as the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore. Ms. Hsieh holds a Bachelor of Business (Management) specialising in Marketing from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University.

    Ms. Tan joined Equis Funds Group in 2014. Ms. Tan has 5 years of accounting and auditing experience. Prior to joining Equis, Ms. Tan was a Group Accountant at Harmony Capital Group where she was responsible for the financial accounting function across the group of companies. Prior to joining Harmony Capital, she worked as a Senior Associate in the Assurance Practice of PwC Singapore. Ms. Tan holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Universiti Putra Malaysia.

    George Cowan

    Mr. Cowan is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Mr. Cowan is an energy industry professional with over 35 years of international experience including 17 years in Asia managing the development, construction, operations and financing of power projects in East and Southeast Asia. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Petrocom Energy and was responsible for the company’s operations and commercial divisions. Prior to this, he served as Regional Director for Marubeni Power Asset Management covering Southeast Asia and Australia. Throughout his career Mr. Cowan has served as the General Manager of numerous electric power installations. Mr. Cowan has experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the development of strategies and business plans, due diligence, market and regulatory assessment, commercial evaluation, project structuring, negotiation of commercial agreements, finance, tax optimization, business performance, and management of host country government, partner and customer relationships. Mr. Cowan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

    Mr. Yang joined Equis Funds Group in 2011 and has over 10 years of infrastructure investments and private equity experience. Prior to Equis, Mr. Yang was a Vice President of Macquarie Funds Group based in Abu Dhabi, where he was responsible for asset acquisitions in the Middle East and North Africa region for the ADCB Macquarie Infrastructure Fund. Prior to this role, Mr. Yang was based in the Seoul office of Macquarie Group where he executed a number of landmark transactions for, and the listing of, the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund. Mr. Yang has a Bachelor of Economics from Seoul National University. He is fluent in English and Korean.

    Mr. Chaudhary is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Mr. Chaudhary has over 15 years’ experience across a variety of infrastructure planning and real estate development projects in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and the United Kingdom. He has led a number of notable private sector deals in India and has advised numerous state governments on infrastructure investment projects. Prior to joining Equis, Mr. Chaudhary was a Partner and Executive Director at Assetz Property Group. Prior to Assetz Property Group, he held a number of senior positions at Jones Lang LaSalle in Asia and the United Kingdom. Mr. Chaudhary holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters of Arts in Geography from the University of Ajmer, and a Masters of Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

    Mr. Sharma joined Equis India Advisors, an advisor to Equis Funds Group in 2013 and is based in India. Mr. Sharma has more than 14 years of energy and infrastructure experience across principal investments, EPC project execution and asset management. Mr. Sharma’s energy experience includes gas and coal fired plants and renewable energy. Prior to joining Equis, Mr. Sharma worked with General Electric (GE) for six years as part of its Energy Financial Services group covering India, South Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Prior to GE, Mr. Sharma spent two years with ICICI Bank as part of its Project Finance Group managing the project finance cycle for large Indian greenfield power projects in India. Prior to ICICI, Mr. Sharma spent five years with Bechtel Corporation focused on EPC execution across US power projects and the implementation of energy efficiency projects. Mr. Sharma holds a MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology - BHU, Varanasi, India - where he was honored with the "Institute Color" Award.

    Mr. Pasricha joined Equis India Advisors, an advisor to Equis Funds Group. Mr. Pasricha has over 9 years of investment evaluation, structuring and direct asset investment experience. Prior to advising Equis, Mr. Pasricha was a Manager in the Investments division for Assetz Group. Prior to that he was a Senior Associate, Quantitative Research, for Infosys Technologies Limited. Mandeep holds a Master of Finance and Control from University of Delhi and is a CFA charterholder.

    Vidur Gupta

    Mr. Gupta joined Equis India Advisors, an advisor to Equis Funds Group in 2013. He has eight years of experience in energy and infrastructure investment and asset management in India. Prior to joining Equis, Mr. Gupta spent two and a half years with IDFC Alternatives infrastructure equity fund where he evaluated investments across various infrastructure sectors including, amongst others, power, oil and gas storage. Prior to this, Mr. Gupta was a Deputy Asset Manager with Total Gas & Power India for five and a half years where he was responsible for executing and managing transactions related to LNG and LPG import businesses in India whilst also being involved in actively pursuing new business initiatives for the group. Mr Gupta holds a Master of Finance from Lancaster University and a Master of Business Administration (Finance and Entrepreneurship) from the Imperial College Business School.

    Craig Marsh

    Mr Marsh is a Director of Equis Funds Group. Prior to Equis, Mr Marsh spent 14 years at Macquarie Group in Australia, South Korea, the Middle East and the Philippines. During this time Mr Marsh played a leading role in developing Macquarie's infrastructure advisory and principal businesses in these markets.  Mr Marsh has led, advised on and invested into transactions in the transportation, energy, logistics and social infrastructure sectors. Mr Marsh was a leader in the establishment of Macquarie's Middle Eastern business, assisting in the creation of the Zonescorp Infrastructure Fund and the ADCB Macquarie Infrastructure Fund. More recently Mr Marsh led Macquarie Capital's infrastructure business in the Philippines, providing advice to several conglomerates in developing large scale infrastructure in addition to playing a pivotal role in the growth of the Philippine Alliance for Investment in Infrastructure, a Philippine focused fund managed by the Macquarie Group. Mr Marsh holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.

    Mr. Ballin is a founding Partner of Equis Funds Group. Mr. Ballin has over 15 years of international energy and infrastructure fund and investment experience. Prior to Equis, Mr. Ballin was based in South Korea with the funds management division of Macquarie Bank where he was a key member of the team that created the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund and served as the fund’s Head of Acquisitions. Prior to joining Macquarie’s funds management division, Mr. Ballin worked in the advisory group where he successfully completed a number of high profile transactions in Asia and Australia. Mr. Ballin also served as a Director and Board Member of Denham Capital Asia Pacific. There he successfully established the local operations and strategic direction for the group in Asia. Mr. Ballin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Economics) and a Bachelor of Laws (Commercial and Securities Law) from Canterbury University.

    Mr. Lim joined Equis Funds Group in 2012. He has 9 years of investment and advisory experience across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the United States. Prior to joining Equis, he was a Consultant at Thomson Reuters in New York where was responsible for identifying and evaluating investments in the Americas. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Mr. Lim worked as an Associate at CCMP Capital Asia, a pan-Asian private equity fund, where he was responsible for investments in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to that, Mr. Lim was an Executive in the investment banking division at Macquarie Group. Mr. Lim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours in Actuarial Studies) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Business Administration (Finance & Management) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
